Manufacturing Process of GetPeptide Research-Grade Peptides

At GetPeptide, we are committed to producing premium research-grade peptides with exceptional purity, consistency, and reliability. Our manufacturing process follows strict quality control standards at every stage to ensure researchers receive products they can trust.

1. Ultra-Pure Water Preparation

The process begins with dissolving peptide compounds in Water for Injection (WFI) grade water, one of the highest purity standards available. This provides a clean, contamination-free foundation and helps maintain the integrity of every peptide formulation.

2. Stability Enhancement Through Excipients

To improve product stability and long-term preservation, carefully selected excipients such as mannitol and sucrose are incorporated into the formulation.

  • Mannitol functions as a bulking agent, supporting the structural integrity of the lyophilized product.
  • Sucrose acts as a lyoprotectant, helping protect peptide molecules from degradation and aggregation during freeze-drying and storage.

3. Advanced Electrospray Ionization (ESI)

During the Electrospray Ionization (ESI) phase, the peptide solution is transformed into a fine mist for analytical characterization. Controlled sodium ion attachment may occur during this process, facilitating efficient ionization and accurate molecular analysis. This step contributes to the verification, characterization, and quality assessment of the peptide material.

4. Sterile Filtration for Maximum Purity

Following formulation and analysis, the peptide solution undergoes sterile filtration using a 0.22 μm PES (Polyethersulfone) membrane filter. This critical step helps remove potential contaminants and ensures a high level of product purity before filling.

5. Precision Filling and Lyophilization

The filtered peptide solution is accurately dispensed into sterile 3 mL vials. The vials are partially stoppered and transferred to a controlled freeze-drying system for a carefully monitored 36-hour lyophilization cycle consisting of:

  • Freezing Phase

The solution is gradually cooled to approximately -40°C, stabilizing the peptide structure and preparing it for moisture removal.

  • Primary Drying

Water is removed through sublimation under controlled vacuum conditions, eliminating the majority of moisture while preserving peptide integrity.

  • Secondary Drying

Residual bound moisture is removed through desorption, resulting in a stable, highly purified lyophilized peptide product suitable for long-term storage.

  • Commitment to Quality

Every stage of our manufacturing process is conducted under stringent quality control protocols to ensure consistency, purity, and reliability across every batch.

At GetPeptide, our mission is to provide researchers with high-quality research-grade peptides manufactured to rigorous standards, delivering the confidence and consistency required for advanced research applications.
